- Fun, beautiful, and comfortable
About 12 long time friends spent a winter weekend at Fitz Resort this year and had an amazing time. It is close to the ski resorts and right outside of Kings Beach. We cooked extensive meals in the large, lovely kitchen (with an amazing stove!) and ate them together family style in the dining room. The hot tub being right off the dining room made it the common choice for post-ski and pre-meal relaxation. We spent the rest of the time lounging in game room playing pool or living room just hanging out. We even spent a little time playing in the snow out back one day. Two of us took advantage of the acreage and snow-showed back to the mountains. The views are absolutely breathtaking from most of the house. And with some of the apartments being off the main house, it gave us all the privacy when we needed it. Plenty of parking and central to North Lake, Fitz was perfect. We would absolutely return and plan on it! Plus the owner Sean was friendly, responsive, and warmly welcomed us at the house the first day.

- I found our stay at Fitz very comfortable and convenient. The views of the Lake would be difficult to match from any venue. We especially enjoyed being able to walk out our door and snowshoe the many acres of open forest on the property. North Tahoe was a breath of fresh air compared to the glitziness of the South shore area.
